DeWalt Reciprocating Saw Rafter Hook
Finally, a hook for the DeWalt DCS389 reciprocating saw. This sawzall is a powerhouse, however the one complaint users have is that it lacks a rafter hook. We have developed a rafter hook for this sawzall that hangs even on steeper pitched trusses. Designed for use with the 6ah, 9ah or 12ah battery, it allows the saw to be hung on dimensional lumber on edge (1.5”). It can also hang on traditional ladder rungs.
Installation is easy - simply spread it apart and install it over the lower battery support, push the hook flat and out of the way to install the battery and it’s ready to use. It is made with a flexible thermal polyurethane that will withstand job site conditions as proven with our other hooks. However it’s important to note that you should only switch out the battery or install/remove the hook in room temperature to allow the hook to flex gain its flexibility back if you are working in the cold or the hook may be damaged.
