Drywall Adapter Tip
This Drywall Adapter Tip is designed to make the installation of drywall easy (typically for exterior framing applications). Often times, even on the weakest setting of the nailer, the nails puncture the outer paper of the drywall - in many regions, this violates building code and weakens the end product. This is an ADJUSTABLE spacer. Installed one way, it provides 1/8” spacing; rotate it 180° and it provides 1/4” spacing. Simply leave the spacer on full time and it allows for regular use of the roofing nailer and acts as a No Mar Tip as well.
Many customers have used this for applications like roofing felt, Sonopan soundproofing, metal roofing to prevent scratching, and other materials where nail blow-through needs to be prevented.
Compatible with the DeWalt 20V Roofing Nailer only (DCN45RND1, DCN45RNB) .
