Winter Combo (Siding Adapters - DeWalt)
This pack contains both the Winter Trim Adapter Tip and the Winter Vinyl Siding Adapter Tip. These are made out of a different compound than the standard Tips to withstand the freezing conditions and engineered with a better tolerance to fit the nose of the nailer so that the adapter is not under unnecessary stress. (The winter adapter will be too loose and too soft for the warmer temperatures).
Winter Siding Adapter Tip: This Adapter Tip is designed to make installation of horizontal vinyl siding quick and easy in temperatures below freezing.
Suitable for beginners and experts alike. This tip is the most ergonomic and efficient for large areas of horizontal siding and can also be used for vertical or board & batten siding by rotating the nailer 90 degrees. The guide posts will fit into nailing slots 1 1/16” or wider though there are guide markings on the outside of the Tip for siding with narrower or no nailing slots.
